These terms are between you and Miox International Company Limited ("Miox"). By creating an account and using the Miox app you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
01Your account
Keep your password, PIN and security answers private. Never share them, not even with Miox staff. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
02Property records
The documents, allocations, coordinates and layouts in the app show the records Miox holds for property you bought. Official title documents remain the legal proof of ownership.
03Your money with Miox (wallet and save box)
Money in your Miox wallet and save boxes is your money. Miox keeps it for you so you can pay for property, instalments, rent, documents and services. You can move it from a save box to your wallet, and withdraw it to your bank, at any time. Miox does not charge you for taking your own money out of a save box. A save box goal date is only a reminder, not a lock.
Miox is not a bank. Your wallet and save boxes are not bank deposits, are not insured by the NDIC, and do not earn interest.
04Charges
Every charge is shown to you before you pay and again on your receipt, as required in Nigeria. These include the Paystack fee on card or bank-app top-ups, the transfer fee and VAT when you withdraw to a bank, and any Miox commission on services. Fees already paid to Paystack or the banks cannot be returned by Miox.
05Your account number
Your Miox account number is provided by our payment partner Paystack and its partner bank. Money sent to it is added to your Miox wallet.
06Automatic saving and linked cards
If you choose automatic saving, you authorise Miox, through Paystack, to take the amount you set, on the days you set, from your Miox wallet or from the bank card you linked. You see the amount and the Paystack fee before you agree. We tell you each time your card is charged. You can change or stop automatic saving, or remove your card, at any time in the app. If a charge fails, nothing is taken.
07Payments Miox holds (market and professionals)
When you buy from another client or hire a professional through Miox, Miox holds your payment and only releases it when you confirm, or when a dispute is settled. Any commission is shown before you pay.
08Withdrawals
Withdrawals are usually paid within one working day. We may delay a withdrawal to check that it is really you, to protect your money.
09Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, try to reach other people's data, or use Miox for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
10Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes in the app. Questions or complaints: use Help in the app.
